We loved staying in this hotel. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the main plaza and surrounded by small shops and restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious with a balcony that gave us a breathtaking view of the cityscape. We appreciated the hospitable staff who spoke English fluently and offered luggage storage and laundry services. Lastly, this hotel was very affordable which made our stay even more enjoyable.

the room was huge and had a lovely balcony with a view of a nearby volcano. the building was beautiful and the location was great, with several little shops and restaurants nearby.

The laundry service and luggage storage were very convenient during our romantic escape. the location was great, just a short walk from the main attractions. the view from the balcony was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes.
The beds were uncomfortable and sagging in the middle. the carpet was dirty and stained.

This colonial mansion, with its original features, offered a memorable experience. We enjoyed the large and comfortable room with a fantastic view of the city’s volcanos. The location was great, with shops and restaurants nearby, and only a short walk to the main square. The staff was helpful and spoke good English. Despite its basic facilities, El Monarca had everything we needed, including luggage storage and laundry services.
The bed was uncomfortable and the carpet was stained. The door was poorly secured and we were disturbed by noise from other guests.
